Unamo SEO gather traffic data from the column 'Medium.' We do not manually segment out bots. If you are separating out bots on your account, we will reflect that. We probably couldn't authorize the token (For instance, it could have been connected for longer than 6 months, so we need to re-authorize it for security reasons). Make sure you periodically refresh your Google Analytics connection with Unamo SEO. Search volume allows you to see on average how often a term is searched for on a monthly basis. It is beneficial because it will show you if a keyword has enough popularity to want to rank for and monitor within Unamo SEO. Traffic estimations show you how much estimated traffic you are gaining while on the current position in the SERPs. Unamo SEO uses a formula to create this based on search volume and CTR. It allows you to create a tailored marketing strategy. You can purchase mobile tracking results as it's a feature that is not available in the basic plan. Currently, you can monitor mentions on social media channels in United Kingdom, United States, Spain and Poland. With a basic plan you get access to 1 month of historical data. You can also enable an add-on, where you get access to 3 months of data (US, UK, Spain) or 12 months (Poland). This is a premium feature. The comment may not appear because: The time it takes for a mention to appear in the app depends on the activity of the visitors on a certain social media profile. On the most active social profiles, the mentions should appear within 10-15 minutes after publishing. Yes, in Unamo Social Media you can monitor hashtags by adding them as main keywords, e.g. #iloveunamo. A source is a type of social media channel, on which the mention you’re monitoring with certain queries was published. Unamo Social Media monitors all major social media channels, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube. In Poland, we also monitor chosen blogs, forums and news sites. You cannot add a social media channel that we’re not monitoring. If, however, there’s a profile that seems to not appear in our database, please contact our Support Team at support@unamo.com. We will add the chosen profile to our system with the next database update. Choosing the main keyword, or a main phrase is the first basic step to start monitoring your project. It’s an overview of what you are looking for. Selected keyword can contain a few words separated with a space. You can quickly go to a different keyword by using a comma or Enter. You can also set a rule for us to check different versions of the word using the asterisk (*) rule. The next step is adding related words (required and/or excluded). For more precise results, set a proper distance between keywords. Required and excluded words are related to the whole project, so to all main keywords at the same time. This means that you can use them to set required or excluded keywords for the larger number of main keywords. No, the keyword limit that you have in your plan relates only to main keywords, so we do not count related keywords (required and excluded) as your main phrases. No, keywords are not case sensitive, so we will fetch results for all versions of keyword, regardless of the size of the letters. Unamo Social Media supports, however, only the Polish and English alphabet at the moment. If you want to monitor keywords that can have many declinations or a lot of different endings, you can use the asterisk rule. Thanks to Unamo Social Media you can monitor a specific keyword within the entirety of social media. You can also monitor a profile with all the activities related to it. A mention is any type of interaction online (especially on social media) that you’re monitoring based on the chosen keywords and/or profiles. The mentions feed is similar to the Facebook news feed, where you can see all the mentions that contain the keyword you’re monitoring (if you’re monitoring keywords), or all posts, comments and shares (if you’re monitoring profiles). You can filter the mentions by status, photo, video and links. An interaction is a like, share or comment on a social media platform. Sentiment is the type of emotion that is expressed via comment or post. There are 3 types of sentiment: Sentiment is the source of information about the attitude of a person towards a specific topic or brand. Monitoring mentions along with their sentiment and other metrics can be a great source of information on purchase barriers (or motivations) of your clients and the ways in which you can influence them. Yes, if you don’t agree with the sentiment our tool set for the mention, you can manually change it in the Mentions Feed by clicking on the sentiment below the mention. Yes, in order to exclude a mention, just select an “Exclude” button and then “Mention” below a specific mention. Yes, in the top of the section you will see an option where you can export the data as a list of data or charts data. You can export the data using an .xls file. The data is limited only by the period for which the data is assigned. In order to exclude an author, just select the “Exclude” button and then “Author” below a specific mention. You can also go to the Mentions section and exclude him in a specific filter. It’s also possible to exclude an author in the Rankings section. In order to include an author or mention that you excluded prior, just edit the project (by clicking on the pencil icon next to the project name) and go to the “Excluded” section. If you excluded an author/mention using filters, just cancel or edit the filter. An influencer is a person who has a wide group of followers on their social media channel, is an expert in a specific niche or area, and has a persuasive influence over those that follow him or her. A profile will become an influencer when they mention the keywords you’re monitoring (unless you’re monitoring a profile), but also have a high number of interactions, followers and potential reach. You can filter the influencers based on different metrics. You can’t add an influencer, Unamo Social Media will, however, find the most relevant influencers for your business. Word cloud is a collection / set of words, which most often appear in the context of a chosen subject. This means that in all found mentions, these words were used most frequently. The biggest word in the set is the most frequently used one. Leading influencers present the most influential authors which are contributing to a certain project topic you’re monitoring using chosen keywords. The ranking is a summary of all values from public posts shared on social channels in a given period for a particular author. Leading words show which words co-appear most frequently next to the keywords you’re monitoring. The estimated ad equivalent is the amount of money you would have had to pay for advertising to get the same result as you did through organic social media. It is an algorithm created by Unamo Social Media that takes into account the number of followers a profile has then sets the multiplier of reach, and then it also takes into consideration different interactions separately. The valuation is formed on the basis of the rates of the channels we’re monitoring, so while it is an estimate, it is a good metric to watch Reach and potential impact are used interchangeably. The reach is the potential number of times a person viewed the post. We analyze the size of the profile and use an algorithm to determine the percentage multiplier (from 3% to 18%). In addition, the number of interactions is also analyzed. Popularity (of the post) is the number of interactions with the given post. The number of likes, comments and shares is multiplied by a specific weight (1x like, 4x comment, 16x share) and the numbers are summed up. The more effort the user puts into the interaction - the higher weight the action is given. The Groups section is where you can group certain mentions that are about the same topic or brand, allowing you to have a clear overview of your mentions over time. They can be grouped in whichever way you wish. Under every mention you will find the "Group" option. After clicking on it, you will see a list of all available groups, and you will have the option to add a new one. In the Compare section you can choose from 2 to 6 projects and set the date range for comparison. When setting a date range, you can compare 2 topics within two different date ranges; however, with more than 2 topics it has to be the same. When you compare topics you can get valuable information related to advertising or promotional performance over time, the interest in a specific topic, the performance of the brand or a campaign during a specific time of year. You can also compare the feelings of your customers in relation to the number of posts. In the Alerts Section, you can pick when you want an alert to be sent (at a specific time, based on a triggered event, or anytime a specific action takes place) and what type of mentions you want to appear in the email (all mentions, only main posts, only comments etc.). Here, you'll also have the option to select if you want us to show you the most recent mentions, most popular, those with highest reach or all of the above. In order to export your data you can either create a report or click on the "export" button which can be found at the top right-hand side of every graph available in Unamo Social Media. Any exports are in the CSV format while reports are in the PDF format.Frequently asked questions

The way it works is you need to add the * sign after the keyword for us to fetch all versions of the mention.
Example: You want to monitor a keyword related to developing photos, but people may be writing about it in different forms. If that’s the case, you can just monitor develop* photo*, so we will check all the mentions that consist not only “develop photo”, but also those keywords that have different letters appearing after that, e.g.:
- develop photos
- developing photos
